first_img1 Harry Kane was speaking at an England press conference on Friday morning Harry Kane has claimed England are more than capable of winning Euro 2016, despite winning just one of their games so far.A victory over Wales was enough to secure progression to the Round of 16 in second place, although draws with Slovakia and Russia prevented the Three Lions topping their group.It was the Dragons who claimed than honour – ending the group stage with two wins and one loss – and the second place finish means England face a real challenge to reach the final.They are now on the hard side of the draw, along with the likes of France, Germany, Spain and Italy, although they were handed a favourable tie against Iceland in their first knockout game.Kane, who has failed to find the back of the net so far in the tournament, was extremely confident when discussing England’s chances of success during a press conference on Friday morning.“I think we played well in the all the games; there’s still stuff we can improve on with finishing one of them.” Kane said, “We have to try and rectify that and do the best we can.“I think we are one of the best teams in the tournament. We are confident and do not fear anyone.”Roy Hodgson has had to defend his young talisman against claims of burn out, with the Tottenham striker insisting he is ready to fire the Three Lions to European glory.He added: “I’ve had it before, a lot of people spoke last year when it was the under-21s at the Euros.
