Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington Reveals Jon Snows Final Destination

After the series ended, some fans were still puzzled over the character’s fate. Now, Kit Harington is sharing where Jon Snow was going during those final moments and why he chose to move on from the Night’s Watch.During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Harington explained more details on Jon Snow’s final destination and how the hero felt more at home with the Wildlings.“Seeing him go beyond the Wall back to something true, something honest, something pure with these people he was always told he belongs with — the Free Folk — it felt to me like he was finally free,” Harington told The Hollywood Reporter. “Instead of being chained and sent to the Wall, it felt like he was set free.”Harington discussed how joining the Free Folk was an emotional release for Jon Snow, who was still sad over killing Daenerys Targaryen.“It was a really sweet ending,” Harington added. “As much as he had done a horrible thing [in killing Daenerys], as much as he had felt that pain, the actual ending for him was finally being released.”Game of Thrones, which ended in May, received 32 Emmy nominations for its last season. Many of the series’ cast members were nominated for Emmy Awards, including Harington, who is up for Best Actor in a Drama Series, Entertainment Weekly noted.
